SMOK NORD 2 Pod Vape is the second generation of one of the most popular Pod Vapes on the market – The SMOK Nord. This time around this ultra portable vape features an increased battery capacity, a 0.69 inch OLED display, wattage adjustment and a wide variety of coils and pods!
Starting off with the shape, the button-triggered NORD 2 utilizes a more round shape than its predecessor which improves the feel in hand and the overall look. Furthermore it’s only 95mm tall and weights a light 79 grams, which is perfect for any pocket. Under the hood, this pod vape also increased the total battery capacity from 1000mAh to 1500mAh, giving you significantly more vaping time.
The refillable pod of the NORD 2 can hold up to 4.5mL of e-liquid and is compatible with both RPM Mesh coils and Nord 2 Coils. This new ability of swapping between NORD and RPM coils is extremely useful when you want to enjoy a nice mouth to lung vape or switch to an impressive sub-ohm experience with lots of vapor.
While the new intelligent chipset on the SMOK Nord 2 delivers extra power and a built in suite of protection features. Furthermore the addition of the 0.69 inch OLED display on the side panel of the device, provides useful information such as:
- Current Power Setting – Displayed in Watts
- Pod/Coil Resistance – Useful for detecting the type of coil you are using
- Puff Counter
- Battery Information – See the percentage of your current charge, and while plugged in to charger a new indicator will show an estimated charging time.
Useful Tips:
- Setting the wattage on the NORD 2 is super intuitive – Simply click the power button 3 times. Once you see the wattage flashing on the screen, just hold or press the power button to cycle from 1 to 40 watts.
- To replace the coil, simply pull it out of the bottom of the pod and replace with a new coil
- To refill the e-juice, open the rubber plug located at the side of the pod and fill with your favorite e-juice
If all of those features weren’t enough for a pod system, think again. The SMOK NORD 2 is also compatible with the RPM RBA Deck, for those looking to build their own coils.
